Welcome to St. Patrick's NS, Killeen, located on the outskirts of Granard, Co. Longford. We are a rural, Catholic, co-educational school.
Our aim is to provide a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment in which children feel safe, happy and confident to learn. We strive to deliver a high-quality education that respects each child’s individuality, encourages curiosity and creativity, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Rooted in our local community and traditions, we also help children develop respect for others, a sense of responsibility and pride in who they are.
We hope each child grows academically, socially and emotionally. We want every pupil to leave our school with strong foundations in learning, positive self-belief, kindness towards others and the confidence to take the next steps in their educational journey, ready to contribute positively to their community and the wider world.
